Cambrian United’s Academy Under-9s enjoyed a busy and highly positive period, taking part in several competitive tournaments and development fixtures.
During the week, the U9s competed in a midweek tournament where they faced challenging and competitive games against some of the elite clubs from across the country. The players showed excellent attitude, resilience, and quality throughout, continuing their strong development within the Academy programme.
Across the tournaments, the squad were tested against strong opposition including:
• Wolves
• Spurs
• Leeds
• Worcester City
• Southampton
• Cardiff City
Each fixture provided valuable learning opportunities, helping the players develop technically, tactically, and mentally in high-performance environments.
The coaching staff were particularly pleased with the commitment, teamwork, and professionalism shown by the players when representing the club.
These experiences continue to support the long-term development of our Academy pathway and prepare players for future challenges.
