Cambrian United are delighted to announce the signing of Alex Bonthron, who joins the club following his most recent spell with Llanelli Town in the Cymru Premier.
Alex arrives with an outstanding goalscoring pedigree and a reputation as one of the most clinical forwards in Welsh football. A natural finisher, he has consistently delivered at every level, establishing himself as a proven threat in the final third.
During the 2023/24 season, Alex finished as the JD Cymru South top goalscorer, netting 30 goals, before continuing his fine form with 26 goals in 31 appearances the following campaign. His performances have marked him out as one of the most consistent forwards in the league in recent seasons.
The striker has also represented Wales at international level, featuring for Tim Rhanbarthol y De in the UEFA Regions Cup, where he found the net in all three group-stage matches — further underlining his quality on the big stage.
