Cambrian United are delighted to announce the signing of dynamic attacking midfielder Frazer Thomas, who joins the CamArmy ahead of the 2025/26 JD Cymru South campaign.

Frazer, 22, hails from Aberdare and is a product of the RCT Schools football system and Cardiff City Academy. He makes the move from Merthyr Town, where he became a terrace favourite over 159 appearances in just over four seasons, netting 19 goals and playing a starring role in their 2024/25 Southern League Premier South title-winning side – including a dramatic late winner away at Bracknell Town.
Joining Merthyr at just 18 during a challenging chapter for the club, Frazer quickly rose to prominence, earning a reputation for his flair, creativity, and match-winning ability. Now, he takes the next step in his career by returning to his Rhondda roots with Cambrian United, becoming a key part of the club’s mission to bring the very best talent from across Rhondda Cynon Taff back home.

Liam Williams, Cambrian United First Team Manager, said:
“Frazer is a fantastic addition to our squad. He’s someone who excites fans, creates chances, and brings that bit of magic in the final third. His experience at Merthyr shows his quality, and we’re really looking forward to seeing him in Cambrian colours this season.”

With the support of Wales Insurance Brokers, Cambrian United continues its vision to unite RCT football under one banner, celebrating local talent and community pride.
Welcome to the CamArmy, Frazer!
