Cambrian United Men’s First Team Take Part in Mental Health & Wellbeing Workshop

Cambrian United are proud to share that our Men’s First Team squad and staff recently participated in a Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop delivered by Steve Truelove from R2C.

The session was designed to give players practical tools to manage their mental health, balance the pressures of performance, and support one another both on and off the pitch.

🌟 Workshop Highlights:

  • Practical strategies for managing stress and maintaining positive mental health
  • Recognising early signs of low wellbeing or mental health challenges
  • Creating a supportive environment within the team and wider club
  • Encouraging open conversations around mental health in sport

Delivered in a relaxed and engaging format, the workshop encouraged players to speak openly about their own wellbeing and offered actionable advice for building resilience in a high-performance environment.

“As a club, we are committed to developing not just talented footballers, but well-rounded individuals. Mental health support is a key part of that journey,” said Joshua Evans, Head of Operations.

This initiative is part of Cambrian United’s wider commitment to player welfare, ensuring that every member of the squad feels supported on and off the field.

A huge thank you to Steve Truelove and the R2C team for delivering such a valuable session for our players.
