Historic St David’s Day Double Header for Cambrian United FC

Cambrian United FC is proud to announce a landmark moment in the club’s history as we prepare to host our first-ever Men’s and Women’s First Team double header at the same venue, on the same day.

This special St David’s Day celebration at the M&P Group 3G marks a huge step forward for the club and reflects the progress being made across all areas of our football family.

For the first time, our Women’s and Men’s First Teams will share the stage on a single matchday, showcasing the strength, ambition, and unity that now defines Cambrian United.

A Milestone for One Cambrian

This historic occasion represents more than just two football matches. It highlights our continued commitment to equality, development, and community engagement, with both teams receiving the same platform, support, and recognition.

The double header is a powerful example of our One Cambrian vision in action bringing together players, supporters, families, partners, and the wider community under one identity.

It demonstrates that community remains at the heart of everything we do, while reinforcing our ambition to grow sustainably and inclusively as a modern football club.

A Day to Celebrate Welsh Pride

Taking place on St David’s Day weekend, the event will also celebrate Welsh culture and identity, with supporters enjoying a full day of football alongside special matchday touches, including free Welsh cakes with every hot drink purchased.

With both teams in action, an affordable ticket price, and a welcoming atmosphere, the club is encouraging everyone across Rhondda Cynon Taf and beyond to be part of this special occasion.

Commercial & Sponsorship Opportunities

This historic double header also presents an excellent opportunity for local and regional businesses to align themselves with a growing, community-focused football club.

Matchday sponsorship packages are available, offering brand exposure, hospitality opportunities, and direct engagement with our supporters.
