Cambrian United are delighted to confirm the return of Lawrence Badman, who joins the club as Joint Assistant Manager, working alongside Adrian Needs and joining the wider first-team coaching staff which includes Gareth Evans and Luke Evans.
Lawrence returns to Cambrian United with a strong connection to the club and a proven track record across Welsh football. During his previous spell at Cambrian, he served as Assistant Manager and Development Squad Manager, overseeing a highly successful period that included a treble-winning season and a Welsh Cup Final appearance in 2017, where the side narrowly lost out to Swansea City.

Crucially, Lawrence played a key role in the development of a number of players who now form part of the club’s current first-team squad, including Morgan Davies, Dai Thomas, Cameron Keetch, and Kyle Jones, underlining Cambrian United’s long-standing commitment to internal progression and pathway development.
Since leaving Cambrian, Lawrence has continued to build an impressive coaching and managerial CV. He has held senior management roles, including Manager at Taffs Well FC, and gained valuable experience within the Cymru Premier environment, alongside further coaching spells elsewhere in Welsh football.

In addition to his club work, Lawrence has been a Coach Educator with the Football Association of Wales since 2007, reflecting his technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and long-standing contribution to coach development across the country.
Working closely with Adrian Needs, Gareth Evans and Luke Evans, Lawrence will play a key role across training, match preparation, analysis, and player development, supporting the club’s ambitions and reinforcing its commitment to developing talent from within.
Everyone at Cambrian United would like to welcome Lawrence back to the club and wish him every success in his role as Joint Assistant Manager.
