This Monday marks a proud moment for Cambrian United as Liam Eason reaches his 50th league appearance for the club , a milestone that reflects not only his talent but also his loyalty and connection to the CamArmy.
Liam first joined Cambrian ahead of the 2022/23 season, signing from none other than this Monday’s opponents, Ynyshir Albion. After impressing in his debut campaign, he briefly returned to Albion at the tail end of that season before re-signing with Cambrian in 2023/24.
The following year, Liam moved on to Pontypridd, and then to Llanelli Town, where he enjoyed huge success going on to win the JD Cymru South title during the 2024/25 season. His performances across that campaign made him one of the hottest prospects in Welsh football, with his attacking flair and consistency turning heads across the league.
In the summer of 2025, Liam chose to come home once again, re-joining Cambrian for the 2025/26 season. His return has been a massive boost for the club, bringing not just his ability on the pitch but also his experience and leadership from playing in title-winning environments.
A product of Rhondda League football, Liam’s career to date has been built on the values of hard work, resilience, and talent. His journey is proof that dedication and perseverance can elevate a player to the top levels of Welsh football. At just 50 appearances for Cambrian, there is so much more still to come from him.
