Treowen Stars AFC vs Cambrian United
đź•‘ Kick-off: 14:00
📍 Bush Park
🏆 JD Cymru South
Cambrian United travel to Bush Park this afternoon to face Treowen Stars AFC in the JD Cymru South, with Liam Williams’ side looking to continue their impressive run of form.

The Cam Army arrive in excellent shape, having won their last five league matches. Victories over Trethomas Bluebirds (4-2), Caerau Ely (3-0), Newport City (2-0), Cardiff Draconians (2-0) and Pontypridd United (1-0) have seen Cambrian build strong momentum as the season enters its final stages.
Treowen Stars, managed by Ben Murphy, will be aiming to make home advantage count. This season marks Treowen’s first campaign in the Cymru South, and they have shown they can compete in the division with some strong performances. Recent results include a win over Cardiff Draconians and a draw against Ynysir Albions.

Today’s fixture also marks Cambrian United’s first visit to Bush Park for many years. The scenic ground in Newbridge is well known across Welsh football, particularly for its famous steps leading down into the ground, creating one of the most unique matchday settings in the league.
The previous meeting between the sides this season saw Cambrian United record a convincing 4-0 victory at the M&P Group 3G Stadium back in July. The teams also met earlier in the Nathaniel MG Cup, where Cambrian progressed after a dramatic penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw.
With Cambrian chasing their ambitions at the top end of the table and Treowen looking to continue their first Cymru South season strongly, supporters can expect a competitive contest this afternoon at Bush Park.
